PVC and rubber
Soft PVC coasters are molded, so the logo is raised or recessed in the material itself, and the coaster can be cut to almost any shape. Rubber and neoprene coasters are flexible and grip the table. Both are popular with beverage brands and bars because they last for years.
Acrylic and plastic
Acrylic coasters are clear or colored and can hold a printed insert or have the logo printed or engraved on the back for a glass-like look. Hard plastic coasters are the lowest cost washable option.
When to choose another material
Plastic coasters do not absorb condensation, so water collects on top. For an absorbent coaster, choose stone or paper.
